When Marco and I got engaged, our dream was to have a destination wedding in his family’s hometown in Italy. When it became clear that was not feasable, we searched high and low for the perfect venue that felt like an Italian destination wedding- without the plane ticket.
After much stress and searching we settled on a venue that was just that; a space to rent. We had to source everything for it; from catering vendors, staff to host, bar service, and even the napkins. It was a beautiful wedding, but very stressful, and just a little different from the original dream.
That’s why, when we opened Folino Estate Winery in 2015, it was our vision to create the space in a way that would give couples what we wanted; a beautiful destination-feel wedding venue with amazing food and wine - all with a classic Italian look and charm.
